私達はオーストラリア赤十字のBIG CAKE BAKEというチャリティに参加して、学校で募金集めのためのどら焼きを作りました！

どら焼きのあんはあずきとマーマレードクリーム味。

カスタードも作る予定でしたが、大失敗で使えませんでした～！

どら焼きって生地を焼くのがけっこう難しく、最初は悪戦苦闘しました。でも、だんだんとコツを掴み、美味しそうなどら焼きをたくさん作ることができました。

みんなでそれぞれの役割に分かれ一生懸命作り、失敗作もありましたが、楽しかったです。

私は出来上がったどら焼きを家に持ち帰り、ホストファミリーに食べてもらいました。

子供達は最初あずきに少し戸惑っていましたが、皆「美味しい！」と言ってたくさん食べてくれました。とても嬉しかったです。

またみんなで日本の食べ物を作って、日本食の美味しさをもっと広めたいと思いました。

We joined the BIG CAKE BAKE charity of Australian Red Cross, and made Dorayaki (Japanese pancake) together.

We made sweet red bean paste and cream with marmalade as well to put in Dorayaki.

First we struggled with baking the dough because it was hard, but we got used to it gradually and could make a lot of Dorayakis looked so yummy.

Everyone worked very hard with their own role. Sometimes we couldn’t do well, but it was fun to do something together.

I brought Dorayaki to home and had my homestay family to try them.

My homestay brother and sister were confused by sweet red beans first, but they said yummy!! to me and ate a lot at last. I was so happy to see that.

 I’d like to make some Japanese food again with my friends, and spread the taste of Japanese food more in Australia.
